Dwight Maxwell

Dwight Joseph Maxwell, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at his residence.  He was a 1963 graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. Veteran United States Air Force. Dwight was employed with Columbus Southern Power for many years. Previous member of Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.  He loved cars, joining clubs such as the Buckeye Rod Builders and the Heart of Ohio Chevy Club, specializing in the 55, 56 and 57 models. Dwight was also a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by, parents, Robert and Margaret Maxwell, grandson, Connor Maxwell, daughter in law, Rachael Maxwell, brothers, Robert, Thomas and Jonathan. Survived by, children, Jeffrey (Donna) Maxwell, Joseph (Tessie) Maxwell, Philip (Laura) Maxwell and Dwight (Katie) Maxwell, brothers, David (Jeanette) Maxwell and William (Daleen) Maxwell, sisters, Margaret Maxwell and Kathleen Maxwell, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 12-2 PM where service will follow at 2 PM. Interment Grove City Cemetery.
