Donald "Dean" Cumbo, age 88, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Carriage Court Hilliard Senior Living, surrounded by his children. Dean was born on November 29, 1937 in Davella, Kentucky to parents, Kelly Cumbo Sr and Corda (Harless) Cumbo.
He leaves behind his loving children, Diana (Mike) Hiler, Deanna (Rusty) Revels, Belinda (Dave) Palka and John (Cindy) Cumbo, brother, Charles (Brenda) Cumbo, ex wife and mother of his four children, Pat Cumbo, step daughter, Dian (Ron) Hysell, nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by, loving wife, Anna Cumbo, siblings, Kelly Cumbo Jr., Amos Cumbo, Leslie Stewart Cumbo, Pauline Lyons, Marie Williamson, Geneva Goble, Bill Cumbo and Josephine Houchard.
Dean was the owner and operator of Deans Transmission in Albany, Ohio. Known for his outstanding work ethic and reputation. Dean loved dancing and listening to bluegrass music. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and tinkering with his 1948 Ford. Everyone who knew him loved him and his sense of humor.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. "See you later alligator"
