Deanna Capretta

Deanna Marie (Radich) Capretta, age 47, a woman who loved her family and friends very much, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was a 1997 graduate of Bishop Ready High School and later attended Columbus State Community College. Dee was employed for 10 years with Nationwide Insurance before spending many years as a bartender at the Candlestick Lounge. She was an avid sports fan, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. She was also an accomplished athlete and golfer, winning the junior club championship at Hickory Hills Golf Club. Dee was also a vice commander for the American Legion Post #164 Ladies Auxiliary.  She will be missed.  Preceded in death by, parents, Chuck Sr. and Marilyn Radich. Survived by, husband, John Capretta, children, Ella, Josi and Sam, grandchildren, Harper and Koda, brothers, Andrew Radich and Chuck Jr. (Tammy) Radich, mother in law, Cheryl Capretta, father in law, William (Diane) Capretta, brother in law, Chris (Nichole) Capretta, nieces and nephews, Nick, Maddie, Hailey, Katie and Christopher, numerous other family and friends. Funeral Mass, 12:30 PM Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 473 S. Roys Ave. Father Charles Cotton, Celebrant. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery.
