David Stamper

David Wesley Stamper, age 78, passed away May 30, 2025 at Mount Carmel Grove City. He was a 1964 graduate of Central High and retired from Strawser Leasing after 35 years of service. David was avid fisherman, and enjoyed playing cards, puzzles and movies. He also loved traveling and spending time with his family. David cherished his wife, Cheryl, and everything he did was for her. He will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Romaine Stamper; sisters: Joan Hensley and Donna Coleman. Survived by his wife of 26 years, Cheryl Stamper; children: Wesley Stamper, Todd (Elaine) Stamper, Kim Stamper; 6 grandchildren: Zach, Allie, Blaine, Tyler, Alexia and Nathan; sisters: Jackie Trohaugh and Judy Hill; brothers: Tom (Sheryl) Stamper, Richard (Vicki) Stamper, Donald (Theresa) Stamper; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to his caregivers, Krissy Brown and Kim Stamper for all of their compassionate care.
