David Barr

David Joseph Barr, age 72, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at his residence.  He was a graduate of Franklin Heights High School and also attended Paul C. Hayes Technical School. David was a highly talented and retired mechanic. He worked with many auto dealerships over the years and he also created numerous forklift departments at other places of employment. Preceded in death by, parents, Raymond Jr and Madeline Barr, brothers, Joseph Barr and Raymond Barr III, niece, Sarah Brillhart. Survived by, sister, Michele "Shelly" (George) Owens, nephew, Raymond Barr IV., numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 5-7 PM where service will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, March 19, 2026. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery.
