Cynthia Hayes

Cynthia Hayes, age 57, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Doctor's West Hospital.

Cynthia was a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for 25 years, dedicating her life to caring for others. She was a fun and spicy woman who was always the life of the party. Everyone who knew her enjoyed her quick-witted sense of humor and infectious personality. Above all, she loved her girls very much and was fiercely proud of them. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Miller; her brother, Ernie Grant; and her granddaughter, Paisleigh Marcum.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Linzie Desiree (Adam) Sark, Chelsie (Nick) Cassady, and Rhiannon Harris; her husband, Loyal Hayes; her grandchildren, Hayleigh, McKenna, Justin, Cain, Skylor, Stiles, Storm, Bentley, Samantha, and Destiny; her brother, Everett Grant; her very best friend, Loretta Skeens; and numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside service and interment will be held at Sunset Cemetery on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 2:30 PM.

Arrangements have been completed with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St.

Flowers may be sent to the West Broad funeral home location prior to services and will be transported to the cemetery.
