Catherine Leonard

Catherine Helen Wava Leonard, age 64, a loving wife, mother and nana, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center. Catherine retired from Wasserstrom and was a graduate of Columbus West High School. An ornery woman who loved hard and had no filter, she supported her family at all costs, often being the loudest mom at her son's games, as well as being the best nana ever.  Catherine loved Christmas, her favorite holiday of the year, as Christmas morning rarely ended before 3 PM. She also loved gardening, flowers and playing euchre. Preceded in death by, parents, Robert and Katherine Cullison, mother and father in law, Kay and Adrian Troutman, sister, Deanna Bell, nieces, Jennifer and Kristeen Harper. Survived by, loving husband of 42 years and the love of her life, Steven, whom she met at the Hilltop Pool when she was 13, and she said to him, "I'm gonna marry you one day", children, Shane (Damaliz) Leonard and Brittany Fogt, grandchildren, Carson, Julian and Owen Leonard, Jose and Catie De La Rosa, numerous brothers, sisters, other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 4-7 PM where service will be held 11:30 AM Friday, May 15, 2026. Pastor Paul Rings officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
