Carolyn Ruth Crum

Carolyn Ruth Crum, age 46, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at her childhood home in Huber Heights. She was born November 7th 1972 in Anchorage, Alaska to Albert “Skip” and Patricia (Mowery) Seidenschmidt. She graduated Wayne High School in 1991 then joined the Air Force in 1992 where she met her future husband Thomas Adam Crum. She married Thomas Crum on July 3rd 1993 in Huber Heights. She worked as a Case Worker/SACWIS admin for Franklin County Children Services for over 20 years. Carolyn truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like chatting and spending time with her friends and family. Carolyn had an uncanny ability to bring the best out of people in a deep and positive way. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; sons: Thomas Crum Jr, Drew Crum and daughter, Vanessa Crum; her father, Albert "Skip" Seidenschmidt: brother, Albert "Joe" Seidenschmidt II w/ his wife Theresa; father-In-law, Marshall Crum; mother-in-law Deborah Crum; sister-in-law, Francine Williams w/ her husband Rob and the rest of her family members, friends, and others whose lives Carolyn touched are invited to St. Cecilia located at 434 Norton Rd Columbus, OH 43228, from 9:30am-10:30am on Thursday June 13th, 2019 to pay respects, grieve and support each other, where mass will be held at 10:30am. There will be a Veteran Burial on Tuesday June 18th at 2:30pm at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428.
