Bonnie Catherine "Cathy" Burns, age 78, a woman who loved her family very much, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her residence. She retired from AT&T and prior to that she was in the banking industry for over 20 years. Member St Cecilia Catholic Church. Preceded in death by, parents. Edwin Welchance and Doreen Darrell McCord. Survived by, husband, Michael, son, Jason (Stephanie) Burns, grandchildren, Alexander and Cameron, sister, Allyson (Dale) Griggs, numerous other family and friends. Graveside service and interment, 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Alton Cemetery. Arrangements completed at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St.
