Betty Allison

Betty Jane Allison, 82, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2025. She was born on November 10, 1942, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to James Dewey and Sarah Elizabeth (Burris) McNaughton.

B.J. was a devoted mother and friend. She loved gardening, reading, crafting and traveling, including living overseas in Germany for 3 years.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alvin Allison; children, Andrew (Jocelyn) Allison and Bethany (Patrick) Wolf; siblings and close family Francis, Skip and Vicki McNaughton and Snooky Mowery. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings: William, James, Harrison, Clara, David, Kenneth, Naomi, Renee, Charles and Richard.

In keeping with BJ’s wishes, the family will celebrate her life privately.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Ohio no-kill dog shelter, Canine Collective.
