Barbara Peer

Barbara Jean Peer, age 76, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She attended St Joseph Academy School, where she was very active and instrumental in starting and supporting the museum there. Member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for over 70 years. Barbara managed the Moose Lodge #11 swimming pool for over 20 years and was also employed with both Flight Controls and Professional Airmotive. She was very active with Bishop Ready High School, serving on the school board. Member Shamrock Club. Preceded in death by: Parents: John and Muriel Waldo. Brother: Jack Waldo. Nephew: Dave Waldo. Survived by: Loving husband of 51 years: Jerry. Children: Joyce (Rob) Albright and Jerry (Jessica) Peer. Grandchildren: Brooke (Ethan) Bernhard, Meghan (Ethan Frank) Gall, Ryan Auer, Sean Auer, Emma Albright, Liam Peer, Alexandria Peer and Dylan Hester. Numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, 4-7 PM. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St. Father Dave Sizemore officiating. Interment St Joseph Cemetery. Immediately following the service at the cemetery, the family has asked that everyone join them at The Shamrock Club, 60 W. Castle Rd., Columbus, OH, 43207, for a celebration of Barbara's life.
