Alfred Faber

Alfred Faber, 79, passed away on Thursday, May 8 at Mill Run Care Center.  He was born on October 18, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Alfred and Theresa (Van Camp) Faber.  He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Theresa Faber and sister Karen (Faber) Morris.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Faber, daughter Christy (Scott) Van De Water of Hilliard, Ohio, and son Chad (Jill) Faber of Chardon, Ohio.  He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Ellie and Ethan Faber, and Emma Van De Water.

Alfred was a graduate of the University of Toledo with a degree in Accounting.  He started his career in Accounting at Peat Marwick and spent the majority of his career at West Central Medical Group.  He was born and lived in Toledo, Ohio until 2014 when he moved to Hilliard.  Alfred was an avid reader.  He also enjoyed cooking, grilling and having any food related conversations.  Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was a very proud Papa of all three of his grandchildren and loved hearing what they were up to.

We appreciate the care from the team at Mill Run Care Center, where he spent his final years.  

Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
