Joshua Robert Aslinger

Joshua Aslinger, age 40, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019. He was an avid Ohio State Football fan, and also cheered on the Cincinnati Reds. His love of sports was evident by looking at his extensive baseball card collection. Fishing and camping were other interests he enjoyed. Preceded in death by: mamaw and papaw, Bill and Brenda Sturgill; grandma and grandpa, Gundi and Thomas Aslinger; grandma, Arlene Sturgill; great grandmother, Flora Fox; great grandfather, Virgil and great grandmother, Willa Williams. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Tamara Ross and step father, Jim; father, Bobby Aslinger; Grandma Shirley; sisters: Arlene Guess, Jennifer (Jason) Evans and Stefanie Ross; niece, Ellie Evans; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call from 5-7pm Thursday, June 6 at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St, Columbus where service will be held at 7pm. Rev. Tim Lee officiating.
