Georgia Lee Davenport

Georgia Lee Davenport, age 73, passed away May 17, 2018 at Doctor's West Hospital. Preceded in death by parents and grandparents. Survived by daughter, Robyn L. (West) Watkins of Columbus. In her younger days, Georgia was quite a shopper and enjoyed sharing her couponing skills with others. She also enjoyed nature, animals and often had bird feeders. She had a passion for reading her entire life. Georgia was a devoted mother, Robyn was the light of her life and she was so proud of her accomplishments, they had a special mother-daughter bond. She was a member of Holy Family Church for over 40 years, previously a member of the Christian Mother's and Ladies Guild. Special thanks to Laura Mulholland for always being there and The Wilkins and Davis neighbors for all of your acts of kindness during this journey. Thank you to everyone for your compassion, caring and thoughtfulness during this challenging year, no gesture was unnoticed. Georgia leaves numerous other friends and family to cherish her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Holy Family Church, 584 West Broad St. Columbus 43215. Funeral Mass 10am Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Holy Family Church, Father Kevin Lutz celebrant. Robyn will greet friends directly following the service in the church undercroft where brunch will be served. Arrangements completed at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St.
