Ernestine "Ernie" Sheets celebrated 97 years of a life well lived for Jesus and others from August 6, 1921 to September 15, 2018. Ernie was one of four children of the late Chauncey and Blanche Saunders. Survived by a son, Roger (Karen) Sheets, granddaughter, Andrea (Tim) Kelly, great grandsons, Gavin and Micah Kelly, who all called her "Bogah." All those who knew Ernie would describe her "to know her was to love her", so very genuine, hard working and of great integrity. Ernie gave Riverside Hospital 30 years on the night shift. She loved her bible study, traveling with family and friends and was always up for a new experience. She was also a "chef". Join us as we celebrate the life of Ernestine Sheets with a casual open house at the home of life long friend Sali Spangler, 1363 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, OH, 43212, Thursday, 3-8 PM, followed by visiting times from 11-1 Friday, again at Sali's home, with services to start at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Flowers can be delivered to JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., who will be handling the arrangements.
