William Allen Miller

William Allen Miller age 81 passed away Monday February 20, 2017 at Mt, Carmel Medical Center. Born December 9, 1935 ; Graduate Rush Creek Memorial High School class of 1953 in Breman , OH;  Retired YRC in Sept 2003 after 27 years , also employed withThe Columbus Museum of Art;member AARP and Central State Teamsters;  Veteran U.S Army. Preceded in death by Parents, William Anthony Miller and L. Fern ( Troyer) Yoder Miller; step son, Rickey Vanasdlen; step grandson, Kenneth J "KJ" Vanasdlen; and first wife, Claris Hartshorn Miller. Survived by wife of 40 years Shirley Vanasdlen Miller; son, Ronald (Deb)  Miller of Bradenton FL; step sons, David ( Pam) Vanasdlen of Circleville, OH , Kenneth (Vickie) Vanasdlen of Marietta , OH, Glenn ( Stella) Vanasdlen II of Carlisle PA; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 6 step-grandsons; 3 step-step grandchildren; sister; Beulah Miller  of Lancaster OH; 1 nephew. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home 2693 W. Broad St Thursday 6-8 P.M where service will be held 10;00 A.M Friday. Rev. Tim Lee officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH
