James Forsythe

James R. Forsythe, age 76, a great guy who had an amazing sense of humor, always cracking jokes any time he could, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at his residence. Preceded in death by: Parents: Ralph and Ruth Forsythe. Children: James and Jeffrey Forsythe. Brother: Larry Forsythe. Granddaughter: Mimi. Survived by: Sons: Michael (Pam) Forsythe, Tina (Clinton) Marcum, Rodney Forsythe, Dawn (Terrance) Byrd, Rhonda Forsythe and Taz Forsythe. Brothers: Ed and Max Forsythe. Sister: Pam. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4-7 PM with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to help with funeral expenses.
