William "Bill" Gorenflo age 95 passed away Wednesday September 13, 2023 at Grant Hospital. Bill was a Christian, a wonderful husband of 72 years, a role model father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a US Army Veteran during the Korean War before working for the Columbus Celina Bus Company until 1969 when he went to work for the US Postal Service. Bill loved to golf with friends and family and enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Bill was Preceded in death by: Parents; Chesney and Elizabeth; brothers, Delmon Gorenflo and Bob Gorenflo; sister, Betty Berry and Dorothy Cluff. Survived by; wife of 72 years Erma Gorenflo; children, Richard (Stephanie) Gorenflo, Ronald (Grace) Gorenflo, Karen ( Keith) Holobaugh; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins , and friends. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home 2693 W. Broad St Thursday 5-7 P.M. Graveside service and Interment Friday at 1:00 P.M at Alton Cemetery.
