Vera Marie Kisling

Vera Marie Kisling, 94 passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Kobacker House Hospice in Columbus, Ohio.  
Born August 6, 1927 in Montgomery County, Ohio, Vera spent most of her childhood growing up in Eaton, Ohio.  She lived in Kettering, Ohio as an adult and when her husband, Gerald retired from NCR Company in 1988 they moved to Palm Harbor, Florida.  After Gerald passed away Vera moved to Columbus, Ohio to be near family. 
Preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald Kisling and her parents Carl and Ocie Craig as well as two brouthers Lloyd Craig and Robert Craig and seven sisters Martha Watson, Anna Mary Poland, Doris Schleiger, Verna Mae Craig, Betty Jean Craig, Ruby Moysey, and Carol Oldfather.  She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 
Vera was a member of the Hilliard United Methodist Church during her years in Columbus and before that at the George Young Memorial United Methodist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida and also the United Church of Christ in Kettering, Ohio.  She adored a good conversation over dinner and laughter spent with her sisters doing things like traveling and shopping.
A private inurnment will take place at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor, Florida where she will join her husband, Gerald. Arrangements completed at The Jerry Spears Funeral Home of Hilliard 5471 Frazell Rd Hilliard Oh 43026
