Stephanie Beatty, age 71, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at her residence.
Mom was a wife, mother and friend. She loved having fun, gardening or just being outside, making and wearing costumes, scaring her kids and grandkids with those costumes, spontaneous adventures and side trips while on vacation, and supporting all her children and grandchildren at all their events. She was well known for ringing her cowbell at sporting events and… also graduations. It was mandatory for her to get the button pictures to wear on her coat so that everyone knew who she was there to support. She never knew when enough was enough when it came to giving her time to others. She made trophies for Highland Games, read to children at the library, helped at the St Cecilia festival for many years, teaching other kids during the summers, building theatre sets, sewing costumes and wearing her own costumes for theme-based lessons. She loved teaching. She was dedicated to making sure everyone knew the right things to do and say, was never intimidated by anyone and always stood up for what was right. She was a strong woman that raised strong children and was deeply loved by her husband Albert. She was also loved by many others that had the pleasure of knowing her and was often called Mama Beatty by those that got to know her through her children at cookouts, parties, sporting events and school events.
Stephanie was a graduate of Ohio Dominican University and was a very well respected retired school teacher. Longtime and active member of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church.
