Roger Jewell Sr

Roger K. Jewell, age 78, a man who loved his late wife and family, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his residence. He retired from Columbia Gas, and then finished his career by working for NAPA for an additional 15 years. Roger was an avid golfer and he loved to garden. One of his great memories were the years that he volunteered and coached sports for The Boys Club of Columbus. Preceded in death by, wife, Carol, parents, Cecil and Betty Jewell. Survived by, children, Roger (Lori) Jewell Jr and Amy (Mark) Ortegon, grandchildren, Danielle (Quentin) Farr, Zachary (Lupita) Jewell, Cody Jewell, James (Tammy) Patterson and Steve (Jorden) Patterson, great grandchildren, Caydon, Jaelyn, Blayklei, Max, Corinne, Piper and Keeley, brother, Gary (Jeanne) Jewell, sisters, Judi (Don) Miyoshi, Linda (Charlie) Gordon, Gay (Jack) Roberts and Mari (Moss) Welch, beloved cat, Carl, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Friday, June 3, 2022 from 4-6:30 PM where service will follow at 6:30 PM. Pastor Tim Lee officiating.
