Robert McFarland Obituary

Robert M. McFarland, age 70, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at his residence. Retired from The Columbus Dispatch. He was previously a Virginia Police Officer and a Maryland Sheriff. Veteran US Army. Preceded in death by, parents, Robert and Ruth McFarland. Survived by, wife, Lois, children, Tonya (Jerry) Pendergrass, Amy (Tim) Doerfler, Michelle (Kirk) Dean, Ali Cook, Jessica McFarland, Angie (Joe) Alley, Amanda Kinnaman and Heather (RJ) Doerfler. 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, numerous other family and friends, including his Holt Park Community friends, which he was very active in. A Celebration of Life will be held July 2 at the Buckeye Christian Church, 1528 London Groveport Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123, gathering from 6-7:45pm, with service at 7:45pm. Arrangements completed at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St.
