Richard Darnell "Turk" Gordon

Richard Darnell "Turk" Gordon Sunrise June 15, 1970  gained his wings as he saw his final sunset Thursday, November 2, 2023 at his residence at the age of 53. Richard had a Loving warm heart who was loved by many. He had a wonderful  sense of humor and  loved cooking for his daughter and his gransdson. Early in life, Richard was really into playing   football, and later in life watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys. He was very proud to be a GrandDad to his Grandson. He valued family connection, and he spoke to those he loved everyday. His passing was untimely and the resaons are currenty unknown,  We know that he is in a better place with the LORD, and with the love of his life Susie Mae; as he left with smile on his face.   Preceded in death by mother Beatrice "Pam" Gordon, and wife; Susie Mae Edwards. Survived by; Daughter Daylisha Ayers; GrandSun; Shawn Ayers-Carey; his brother-cousin Erick Lawson; sister Tiara Gordon; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins,  loved ones including friends who were family to him. Arrangements completed with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME as the family is accepting contributions towards honoring Richard Gordon's celebration of Life ceremony.  Contribtuions can be made directly to Jerry Spears Funeral Home, his GoFundME account, or directly to his daughter Daylisha.
