Philip A Schmitz

Philip A. Schmitz, age 79, was taken to his heavenly home on July 1, 2020. He was born April 28, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the second son of Peter and Hazel Schmitz (deceased 1971). 1959 graduate of St. Charles High School. He was employed at Bucks Auto Parts in Columbus as store manager for 45 years and retired in 2003. Phil also enjoyed a cold Busch beer from time to time. Phil was blessed with three surviving brothers, Joseph, John, Peter and sister, Mary. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Michael Sauter, Daniel Sauter, Ruth Johnson, Julie Sauter, Lisa Seydler, Christopher Allen, Kimberly Conley, Stacey Schmitz, Suzanne Schmitz, Theresa Schmitz, Raymond Schmitz, Michael Schmitz, Brady Schmitz and Megan Miller.
