Patrick Sleffel, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Riverside Hospital. I could tell every chapter in the life of my Amazing Husband. But instead, I'll tell you this: If you'd met him, you would have liked him.
He was about family and friendships. He cherished his whole family. It was the only thing of this earth he required. All of his friendships he seemed to make easily, and all were honored and appreciated. He always spoke the truth in his heart. Sometimes it was harsh, but it would always be with love behind it. He always tried to keep his promises. When he couldn't, he felt he had let you down.
Regardless of the tragedies that occurred in his youth, throughout the decades he remained ever faithful and thankful to God, for the time he spent with us. He must have made God smile, and the angels proud, with his way of accomplishing any task before him. Like a butterfly released from its cocoon, he flies free. He will be missed by all. Rest in peace, "My Paper Prince."
