Michael Shivers Obituary

Michael Allan Shivers, age 54, of Hilliard, OH, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Ohio State University Hospital. He was the Youth Sports Director of the Hilliard/Ray Patch Family YMCA on Cosgray Rd. He absolutely loved youth sports, especially football. It was his passion and his true love was watching kids succeed and excel. Mike was extremely focused on teaching kids the proper fundamentals and he wanted to most especially help develop young lives into successful adults. Preceded in death by, father, David Shivers, grandmother, Madeline Shivers, father in law, Darrell Funk. Survived by, wife, Elissa, children, Alex and Julia, mother, Cindy Griffith-Miller, sisters, Jackie Shivers, Christine (Moe) Schumate and Kelly Turnbill, mother in law, Carol Campagna, sister in law, Rene' (Casey Rawlings) Campagna, beloved dogs, Teddy and Trigger, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 1-3 and 5-7 PM where service will follow at 7:00 PM.
