Michael Carlotta

Michael Phillip Carlotta, age 67, born May 2, 1954 passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. Mike was the love of my life and I will miss him desperately. We married on April 17, 2015. We both felt as if we had been together forever. We, Mike and Linda, were blessed to have found each other later in life. Mike was born in Cincinnati and is preceded in death by his mother, grandmother, and four brothers: Bobby, Tony, John and Bill, as well as my parents (Dick and Esther). He will be sorely missed by his sister, Roseanne Hatfield; brother, Danny (Debbie); sister in law Marsha (Bill). My sister, Cheryl (Jeff) Minnick and brother, Rick McCarley, as well as both our entire families will miss him terribly. To know  Mike was to love him. He would (and did!) do anything for you, In fact, his "handy man" skills were sought after by both family and friends. He would bait a line at any pond or river and was so content just being in nature. Mike had a great gift of story telling. When Mike was your friend you had a friend for life. He was very serious about friendship and what it meant. His many friends cherished that about him. Mike loved me deeply, frequently calling me his nickname "Lady" and brought so much to my life; joy, friendship, adventure, security and oh so much love and care. My beloved husband, fly high and rest peacefully in God's arms. I love you always and forever. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Road, Hilliard, Ohio on Monday, July 12 from 3:30-6pm where service will be held 6:00pm.  Pastor Justin Harrington officiating.
