Maureen Kennedy Obituary

Maureen M. Kennedy, age 42, passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at her residence. She was a 1996 graduate of Lakewood High School, Lakewood, OH., and later went on to receive both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, Maureen was a varsity athlete on the Cross Country team. After graduation, she went on to become a biology teacher at Northland High School, where she also was the track and cross country coach, leading both teams to numerous championships. Survived by, husband, Patrick, children, Maria and Michael, parents, Dave and Pat Knotts, brothers, Brian (Sharon) Knotts and Kevin Knotts, father and mother in law, Tom and Colleen Kennedy, nieces, Katharine and Emily Knotts, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Sunday, 2-5 PM. Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM Monday at St Aloysius Catholic Church, 2165 W. Broad St. Father Patrick Toner, Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
