Mary Jo Patke Obituary

Mary Jo Patke, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Doctor's Hospital West. She was a longtime and devoted member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Member St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. Mary Jo was a graduate of St Ursuline Academy in Toledo, OH. Preceded in death by, husband, Roger Patke, parents, Frank and Mary Jane O'Konski. Survived by, daughter, Shannon Patke, numerous other family and friends. Private family arrangements have been completed at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St Ursuline Academy, 4025 Indian Rd, Toledo, OH, 43606, in her name. And in closing, one of her favorite lines was, "Well, I'm dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead. Who would have ever guessed that I would have lived this long?" She will be missed.
