Lowell Handley

July 24, 1933 ~ November 19, 2020 (age 87)


Lowell Handley, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2020. He was born in Buffalo, West Virginia but moved to Columbus Ohio.

Lowell was an Army Veteran and served in Alaska during the Korean War as a Tank Driver.  He worked at Columbia Gas of Ohio for 46 years working on both industrial and home HVAC units. 

Lowell is survived by his brother Jimmy Handley; Sister in law:  Beverly Handley: Children: Shannon (Shan Collins) Handley, Bobby (Michelle) Handley, Tana (Rob) Harris, Shelly Boysel, Tina (Jim) Cline, and Russ (Karin Harvey) Crosky; Grandchildren: Nikki Boysel, Joey Boysel, Franky Anderson, Michael Crosky, Adrian Wescott, Kirah Cooper, Cole Ross and Trey Hawkins.  Several nieces and nephews. 

Lowell was preceded in death by, parents James and Lessie Handley, wife Donna Handley, Siblings: Raymond, Elmer, Roy, Zella Johnson, Ava Handley and stepson Johnny Crosky. 

Lowell was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan and Cincinnati Bengals fan.  Lowell was loving father, devoted husband and a friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
