Lawrence Roger "Pete" Nicholson, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Mount Carmel Grove City. He was the owner/operator of a State Farm Insurance Agency for many years. An avid golfer, he was a longtime and dedicated member of Hickory Hills Golf Club. Preceded in death by, wife, Margaret "Maggie, son, Michael Nicholson, brothers, Larry Clarkson and Earl "Dick" Nicholson. Survived by, sons, Terry Nicholson and Robert (Kim) Nicholson, daughter in law, Lori Nicholson, step sons, Jeffrey (Denise) Childers and Doug Childers, brother, John "Jack" (Linda) Nicholson. Numerous other family and friends. There will be a gathering of friends at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 4-530 where Celebration of Life service will follow at 5:30 PM.
