Kathie Huddle

Kathie (Sias) Huddle, age 73, long time Columbus resident, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2020, surrounded by her family. Kathie owned several hair salons and later retired from Mt. Carmel Hospital after 18 years. She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved making people laugh and spending time in her flower garden. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, William "Waldo" Merdeath and Ann (Merdeath) Oiler; husband, Jimmy Huddle and husband and father of their children, David Lee Sias, son, David "Eddie" Sias, son, Bryan Sias; sisters and brother: Alice (Lemaster) Davis, Linda Merdeath and Earl Merdeath who went to meet the lord. She will be sadly missed by her devoted children: Stephanie (Kyle) Young, Sam (Mieko), many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Joy (Greg) Hunt; brother, William "Dewey" Merdeath; long time friend and speaker, Colleen (Randy) Ridge and many friends will also mourn her passing. Family, friends and others whose lives Kathie touched are invited to JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday, 12:00 Noon - 2:30 PM where service will follow at 2:30 PM. Rev. Dennis Barnhart officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
