John J. Salvito, age 70, passed away at his Pickerington home on Saturday, September 26. He worked at Columbus Steel Drum for 36 years. John was the ultimate family man and was always a jokester and fun to be around, sometimes even laughing at his own jokes. He was also an avid Browns fan. Preceded in death by parents: Betty and Tom; sisters: Brenda, Betty Jean, Edith; brothers: Tommy, Tony and Larry; son, Brian. Survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; daughters: Leah (Marco) Diaz, Tracy Salvito and Jamie (Frank) Dexter; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday, September 30 at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 West Broad St. All are welcome to attend a Celebration of LIfe on Saturday, October 3 from 2-6pm at the Carroll Civic Center, 89 E. Canal St, Carroll, Ohio 43112.
