John Fisher Obituary

John Fisher, age 91, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021. Faithful and longtime member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Retired from General Motors – Fisher Body Division. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Marie Fisher and parents, Steve and Elizabeth Fisher; brothers George Fisher, Joe Fisher, and Steve Fisher and sister, Mary Ackerman and son-in-law Michael Rossette. Loving Father of Sandra Rossette, Carolyn Fisher, and John (Mary Louise) Fisher. Devoted grandfather of Kathleen (Joe) Vecore and Michael Rossette, Andrew (Alexandra), Matthew and David Fisher. Proud great grandfather of Dominic Joseph Vecore. Also survived by sister-in-laws, Phyllis Brnich, Mary Louise (Thomas) Martin and Pat Macho, many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Special friend to Janet Sheehan and Ted and Trudy Lingnau. Friends may call at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd, on Friday October 22, 2021, from 11:30 - 12:30 P.M. followed by a funeral mass at 12:30 P.M. Fr. Leo Connolly celebrant. Interment Sunset Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
