Jewell D. Christy, age 76, a woman who loved her family and always was helping out everyone that she could, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Doctor's Hospital West. She was an avid reader and loved to do jigsaw puzzles, a hobby that was easily passed down to her children. Preceded in death by, husband, Morton, parents, John Delong and Pearl Baker, sisters, Waueka Delong, Willa Mae "Billie" Gustin and Vonda Sue Maynard, brother, Roger Baker. Survived by, children, Jerri (Dan) Turner, Paul (Jean) Price, Billy (Shonda) Price, Teresa (William) Smith, Bobby (Samantha) Bills and Tammy Combs, grandchildren, Danny (Renea), Connie, Andrew, Krista, Bret (Kristi), Caleb, Brett, Olivia and Aiden, great grandchildren, Derick, Caroline, Brenna, Alexis and Mariah, brothers, Oakley Delong, Bobby Joe Delong and Charles (Robin) Baker II, sisters, Pat Cumbo and Phyllis Maynard, numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 11AM - 1 PM where service will follow at 1 PM. Pastor Rick Baumberger officiating.
