Jerry D Scaggs, age 76, passed away November 4, 2023 at Doctors Hospital. U.S. Army veteran, where he served in Korea. Following his military time, he bacame an electrician and spent many years in that profession. Preceded in death by parents, Shermand and Kathlene Scaggs; son, Jeffrey Scaggs. Survived by wife of 31 years, Baretta Scaggs; son, Ronald Scaggs; grandchildren, Emily and Justin Scaggs; siblings: Larry (Nikki) Scaggs, Deborah (Tom) Meade, Thomas Scaggs , Kathy Nance, Brenda (Edward) Waters, Linda (David) Althizer; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7pm at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St.
