Jerome Raymond Hammond, age 71, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. Born 9/26/50 to Alice (McGreevy) and Joseph Hammond. Preceded in death by brothers: James, Robert, Lowell, Michael, and Vincent (Vic) Hammond; brothers-in-law: Frank Schmelzer, Gene Wolfe and sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Liz) Hammond. Survived by loving and devoted wife, Judith (Pfeffer) of 47 years. Brinden and Baily Warren special great nephews raised and nurtured by Jerry and Judy; brothers and sisters: Sue Wolfe, John, Teresa Schmelzer, Phillip (Janet), Timothy, and Steven; sisters-in-law, Veronica ( Ronnie) , Vicky and Vickie Hammond. Numerous well loved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may call at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 473 S. Roys Ave., Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 10-11 AM where Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Father Patrick Toner, Celebrant. Immediately following the mass, a celebration of life will be held at JP's Ribs and Barbecue 2000 Norton Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43228.
