Obituary
Helen was called home on March 13th 2023 to join her loving husband Kendrick Gillispie and three children: sons, Jeffrey Gillispie, Rodney (spouse Linda) Gillispie and daughter, Lisa (spouse Robert Ward); and granddaughter, Brittany Temple in the kingdom of heaven. Helen was a God fearing, loving, independent and courageous woman. Helen was a social butterfly with a smile that could light up the darkest room. She is survived by brother, Cecil Lake; grandchildren: Jeffery Gillispie, Chad Gillispie, Tamara (William) Walker and Ryan (Abigail) Slaughter; great-grandchildren: Jadelynn (Jacob) Lewis, Rodney Hunt, Jenaveive Gillispie, Helayna Walker, Aydenn Temple, Liamia Walker, Aerius Conkel, Ariyah Brown, Jaxdon and Axon Slaughter and many more. Helen J. Gillispie devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend will forever be cherished and missed.
Friends may call Friday, March 17 from 10-11am at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 West Broad St, where service will follow at 11am. Interment at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery Darbyville, Ohio at 1pm.
