From the first time I met Heather, years ago, I knew there was something special about her.  My hunch was right.  She was a unique and special person.  She had amazing wisdom yet at times had the innocence of a child.  I saw her loyal and protective love for her family, and her firm tenderness with her grandson.  She was perhaps the most forgiving person I know and had an uncanny ability to see all sides of a situation, even one she was involved in.  She was kind, fair, intelligent, respectful and insightful.  She touched my life and I grew to love her.

Rest in peace, Heather Jordan.  I will always miss you.

The love and support my family has had this week has been beyond anything we could have imagined. People think that there are no right words when something bad happens, but every word spoken with love for Heather was exactly what we needed to hear. Each meal we know was cooked or bought with love and thoughtfulness. Every flower arrangement was amazingly beautiful. Every hug was comforting. Every prayer helped ease our suffering. Every memory shared brought joy in a time of sadness. Thank you each and everyone who touched her life in any way. Thank you for loving her, for being her friend, for helping her, for listening, for encouraging her, for laughing with her, for praying for her. Now mostly, thank you for remembering her. Our deepest love and appreciation, The Jordan-Laywell Family❤️❤️❤️
