Glenn Wedemeyer

Glenn R. Wedemeyer, age 93, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at StoryPoint Grove City Assisted Living. Glenn was employed with Otis Elevator for over 42 years and a longtime member of The Hilltop Lions Club. On Saturdays, you could find him watching The Ohio State Buckeyes! He enjoyed taking his grandkids to many games throughout the years. Glenn was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He is preceded in death by, wife, Nora, parents, Arthur and Josephine Wedemeyer, brothers, Herman, Karl, Earl, Orland and Ted, son in law, Joe Swartz. He is survived by, children, Cindy Swartz and Alan (Anita) Wedemeyer, grandchildren, Joe Swartz, Cynde (Dave) Whitt, Tony (Chantel) Swartz, Kelly (Glen) Bell, Kristin Leonard and Kari Wedemeyer, great grandchildren, Ryan (Margot), Brendan, Jaret, Samantha, Taylor, C.J., Aubrey, Kasey, Josh, Jeffrey and Bentleigh, and numerous other family and friends. A private visitation will be held at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd. A private graveside service and interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations please be made to either The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Center,  460 W 10th Street, Columbus, OH, 43210 or The Alzheimer's Dementia Research through the Wexner Medical Center, in Glenn's name.
