Gary Chandler

Gary Jay Chandler, age 58, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Doctors Hospital West. Gary was gifted in all things mechanical. He participated in many recreational sports leagues in the Columbus area including softball, golf, bowling, frisbee golf and basketball. He was a lover of sports especially the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and pappy. He will be dearly missed by many.
Preceded in death by, father, Dencil Chandler, sister, Denise Chandler-Nelson, mother in law, Phyllis Rings. Survived by, wife, Jayne, children, Meghan (David) Bergunzi and Kyle (Kelsey Hoffman) Chandler, granddaughter, Abigail Bergunzi, mother, Shirley Chandler, brothers, Dwayne (Virginia) Chandler and Dennis (Kim) Chandler, sister, Tammy (Hobe) Chandler, brothers in law, Jim (Sandra) Rings, Jeff (Sarah) Rings, Jay (Teresa) Rings and John Nelson, sister in law, Julie (Brett) Gillian, numerous other family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Briggs Road Baptist Church, 3231 Briggs Rd. Arrangements completed with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St.
