Erasmo Simon Gonzalez, age 59, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at his residence. Survived by sisters: Martha R Aguilar, Maria del Carmen Aguilar, Graciela Aguilar; brothers: Martin Rafael Aguilar Cadena, Enrique Jose Aguilar, Miguel Adrián Aguilar; nieces and nephews: Erika Avila, Elizabeth Sustaita-Avila, Luis Avila, Monica Avila Aguilar, Angelica Nguyen, José Eduardo Estrada, Ashir Santillan Aguilar, Ishan Santillan Aguilar, Balaram Santillan Aguilar, Fabián S. Aguilar, Fabiola S. Aguilar, Carolina S. Aguilar, Jesús S. Aguilar, Santiago S. Aquilar, Ismael Simon Aguilar Contreras, Rafael Irving Aguilar Cárdenas; grand niece and nephews: Zoe Sustaita-Avila, Zander Sustaita-Avila, Emmanuel Zavier Estrella-Avila.

Erasmo Gonzalez (“Moncito el Panfilo Mayor”) loved his family and friends more than anything. He was the most amazing son, brother, uncle, mentor, teacher, friend, and their love for him was beyond measurable. He was incredibly smart and talented with an unmatched wisdom. More than anything, he was strong, kind, and giving and shared his love for life with everyone that he encountered. He truly believed that everyone had the ability to change their life around if they would just believe in themselves. Erasmo was full of life and had a love for cooking, reading, teaching, discussing the philosophy’s of life, and supporting those most in need. He would give, without hesitation, the very food from his plate and the clothes off his back if it meant he could help those around him. Erasmo touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. All who were fortunate enough for to meet him will miss his constant words of wisdom, encouragement, his laughter and his genuine heart. Erasmo will be dearly missed and will continue to live in our hearts forever. May God guide him to everlasting life so he can forever rest in peace.

Graveside service and interment, 11:00 AM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Galloway Cemetery, 6333 Galloway Road, Galloway, OH 43119. Arrangements have been completed at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME.
