Obituary

Denise Loreen (Wenger) Melvin of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. Denise was born in Columbus on May 17, 1955 to Robert "Bob" and Lillian "Lil" Wenger. She graduated from Westland High School and retired from General Motors (UAW 969). Denise is survived by her husband, Grover C. Melvin; Jan Scarborough and her family; sisters: Debbie Courson and her family, Sandy Wenger; brother, Bobby Wenger; numerous family members from the Wenger and Melvin families and friends. Denise is preceded by parents, Bob and Lil Wenger. Denise was beautiful inside and out. She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful for that sparkle in her eyes. She was beautiful like a wildflower dancing in the wind. She was beautiful deep down to her soul. And she will be missed, until we meet again. There will be a memorial gathering at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 2-4pm.
