David Stomp Obituary

David Stomp, age 81, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Doctors Hospital. David spent most of his working career as a driver for various industries, including driving a charger bus and driving railroad crews. He enjoyed his daily phone calls to family and friends and was a fan of model rallroads. Preceded in death by his parents: Oliver and Georgeanna Stomp. Left to cherish is memory is his wife of nearly 40 years, Catherine Stomp. David also leaves behind his children: Kirk (Anita) Stomp, Jenny (Russel) Hollar, Tammy (John) Barnett, Robert (Tammy) Eckert, Nelson (Kandee) Eckert; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Close friends and family may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory 2693 W. Broad St Thursday 5-7 P.M. Due to the current Coronavirus restrictions no more than 10 people may be be in the chapel for viewing at once, attendance will be monitored.
