Beverly Sue Chaffin "Buckeye Sue", age 76, born November 24, 1944, passed away peacefully at Mount Carmel Grove City on January 23, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer and congestive heart failure. A woman of strength, a big heart who loved to argue in fun. She was a true Buckeye and Browns fan and never shy to let you know it. Enjoyed watching Nascar and loved Jeff Gordon. Retired from Columbus Auto Parts and George's Coneys. Survived by son, Dwayne (Carol) Johnson; daughter, Dawn Mavromatis; grandchildren: Vernon, Stacie (Andy), Niko and Austin; great-grandchildren: Dillon, Caleb, Mateo, Isabella; sisters: Jean (Harry) Jahn, Kathy (Mark) Hunt; several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends who are extended family. Preceded in death by parents: Marie (Ralph) Thompson; former husband, Donald Johnson; son, Donnie Johnson; son-in-law, Michael Mavromatis. Many thanks to the palliative team at Mount Carmel Grove City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Per Sue's request, Buckeye attire is required to attend unless Michigan fan she'll make an exception. Go Bucks! Boo Blue!
