Betty Scott Obituary

Betty Mae Scott, age 94, a true woman of God who daily prayed for everyone in need, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Monterey Care Center. She was a faithful member of Potter's House Church of God and she led bible study at Cherry Blossom Retirement Center for over 20 years. Her great love for the Lord as well as her deep love for her family are what made her happiest. Preceded in death by, husband, Clarence, sons, Gary (Rita), Michael and Lawrence (Betty), daughter in law, Robin, daughter, Bessie, sisters and brothers, Edith, Ethel, Elsie, Dorothy, Lenny, John, Dan, Frank, Andrew and Junior, parents, John and Elsie Holbert. Survived by, children, Tonya Scott, Tommy Scott and Angela Scott, special babies, Divinity and Nina, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 11 AM - 12 Noon where service will follow at 12:00 Noon. Bishop Stephen White officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
