Andrew (Andy) Scott Ashton was called to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 4, 2022. He went peacefully in his sleep. Andy was born to Sharon Scott and Clare W. Ashton III on May 22, 1977. Andy was artistically gifted, had a great singing voice, quick witted and a giving heart. His many passions were cooking and baking for others, movies, music, cars, and motorcycles. Andy was passionate about his career because it enabled him to take care of others. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Andy had a great ability to lift peoples’ spirits and was loved by many.
Andy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clare & Sue Ashton and Joe & Wilma Wells. He is survived by his parents, Sharon Scott (Jerry L. Scott) and Clare W. Ashton (Nancy Ashton) and his “little” brother Michael J. Ashton (Dorothy L. Lopez). He is also survived by great aunt Della Welsh (Grandma), and aunts and uncles Howard (Joey) Wells, Gary & Deedee Wells, Connie Anzuini & Ron Giuffre. Also, survived by cousins John & Connie Wells, Amy & Joe Carlisle, Jody & Bryan Young, Robbie & Brittany Anzuini, Kristen & Avery Holter, and many other cousins and close family friends.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service to follow with Officiant Senior Pastor Kevin Behrer at Glen Wood United Methodist Church 2833 Valley View Dr. Columbus, OH 43204.
