Vivian J Brown

Vivian J Brown, age 78, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at Mayfair Village Nursing Care Center. Vivian was a graduate of Hilliard High School and Capital University. She was a member of the Hilliard Alumni Association, a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, president of Westland Services and Delta Iota Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. Retired after 33 years as a Dublin school teacher and a retired member of the Ohio Education Association and state delegate to the National NEA Conventions. Survived by children: Debbie Brown of Staunton, Virginia, Chris Brown of Dublin, Ohio and Charles Brown (Patty) of Hilliard, Ohio; grandchildren: Kayla, Samantha and Nicolas (Abby). Vivian was an avid reader and enjoyed completing the Dispatch crossword puzzles daily. She also loved taking cruises, and enjoyed visiting Alaska twice. She loved her cats, who have greeted her at the Rainbow Bridge. Friends may call at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 55 Pasadena Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43228, from 10-11am Friday, November 15 where service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Bill McKee officiating.  Interment at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Paul Lutheran Church or the Ottawa County Humane Society, 2424 E. Sand Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
