My sincerest condolences to the whole of Ruth's family and friends. It is sad when anyone passes, particularly one so young. I offer to you what comfort I can.

Ruth was my best friend at Franklin middle school. A hilarious, wise-cracking pixie with sassy fashion sense and a devastatingly encyclopedic knowledge of Star Trek, she made the most awkward years of school enjoyable. Together we excelled in DS-9 quoting and gym class avoidance, and I have thought of her fondly and often with the passing years.
It's heartbreaking to know she's gone. I will always treasure those years and her memory.

I wish I had the right words to express just how I feel, I wish I had known you a little more, I wish this would've never happened and that you were still here. I take comfort in knowing you are loved and remembered by many and your life and memory will live on. Until we meet again, my deepest and most sincere condolences to your family and friends and everyone who is having difficulty assuming your physical absence.
Shine on, Ruth.

Ruth was a wonderful person to know, even if the only place you knew her was online.
She touched many lives, and will be missed by all.

Your daughter was a beacon of hope for me, because of her bright mind, quick wit, and tenacity.
I hope that you will be able to pull together and keep her in your heart. I especially hope that her mother is looked after, and finds some comfort in the fact she had an amazing, self reliant, independent - minded daughter.
I will never forget her, though we never got to meet in person. She did inspire me to write and produce one of my better songs, and I share in your loss.
Peace to Ruth and all of you.
Sincerely,
Steven Graff
