Roger E Tabbutt, age 72, of Canal Winchester, passed away November 16, 2019. Attended West High School. Veteran U.S. Marine Corps, served in Vietnam and also a color guard member. Roger was an avid fly fisherman and golfer. After the military, he was employed at Jeffrey Mining Machinery; Jantitrol; and as a mechanical engineer at Rockwell International. He ultimately retired as a federal police officer from DSCC. Preceded in death by parents: Edwin H. and Betty A. Tabbutt and dog, Riley. Survived by daughter, Christy (Rocky) Harris; grandchildren; Jared, Randal and Emma Harris; life partner, Rosa Marie Stevenson and her children, Beth Stevenson, Todd (Janel) Stevenson and grandchildren; brother, Steve (Anita) Tabbutt; sister, Sandy (Bob) Estheimer; nieces and nephews, Aunt Marty and special dog, Willow. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Life Group at the church, Pickering House and James Cancer Hospital. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Pickering House, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130. A memorial service will be held 4pm, November 23 at Peace Methodist Church, 235 Diley Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
